Spanning over 33,000 acres, this enchanting sanctuary stands as one of the largest freshwater marshes in the United States, a haven for a myriad of avian species. Our story station is a place for families to share their feelings in sentence form of pieces of art. Each family adds to the story to create something quite magical. The story station holds books which relate to current exhibits that children and families can read . You will find the Tell a Story board in the John Michael Koehler Arts Center Social STUDIO, (or in the galleries if you’re on a class field trip).
